Need to go Green. As part and parcel of our Procurement service, we will source green energy through traditional and the new initiative, carbon offset methods. Informed will also ensure that the energy that you think is green, actually is green according to DEFRA and the DTI. At present the volumes of true Green energy is limited, therefore it is important to a) be aware of the suppliers that can supply true green energy and those that can only provide a certain percentage.

Invoice Management:

Successful businesses today invariably want to ensure they only pay accurate invoices and that important billing data is integrated seamlessly into their management accounting systems.

Informed’s validation systems, backed by highly trained analysts, are well positioned to support these requirements:-

Invoice Validation:- This process commence with the receipt of copy invoices, received in an electronic format. These invoices are then subject to rigorous validation routines to ensure any rating or consumption related errors are identified. Such errors are then recovered. Often this results in a refund as well as an ongoing saving via the avoidance of an ongoing error.

Remittance Advices:- This is an enhanced service, typically adopted by multiple location operators / retailers with associated large volumes of billing data.

As an extension of the aforementioned Invoice Validation service, Informed will provide a remittance advice that can be uploaded directly into our clients accounting system. All disputed invoices will be returned to the supplier for correction and re-bill.

In addition, cost and consumption data (per period, per MPAN) reports can be included highlighting those sites where invoices have not been raised in order that appropriate accruals can be made. In this way, billing surprises are kept to a minimum.

Estate Management:

Experience confirms that many clients pay for MPANs/MPRs that do not belong to them.

Informed’s estate management approach ensures these problem areas are identified by independently comparing our clients known estate with suppliers actual billing.

Meter Operator/Automated Meter Reads ("Smart Meters"):

An area that is becoming increasingly relevant for retail companies is the installation of "Smart Metering Solutions". These facilitate the provision of accurate invoices by utility companies, getting away from the current problems associated with high volumes of estimated and erroneous invoices.
